Gay Brown is a qualified CELTA English language teacher and former Guest Teacher from the highly regarded Jakarta International School, Jakarta, Indonesia. She has been tutoring children and adults on a one-to-one basis since 1997 and now resides in Perth, Western Australia.

Gay holds a current Working with Children Check Criminal History Evaluation Card (Assessment Number 997558). Additional National and State Police Clearances are available upon request.

Philosophy:
'My aim is to encourage confidence in students - a confident student is more motivated and shows improvement in overall ability. My style of tutoring addresses the areas of concern in school-based reporting and caters for parental concerns and individual needs.'

Primary:
Tuition is available for students from Grade 1 to Grade 7. Gay specialises in providing help to students of English as a Second language (ESL). Other specialities offered are reading, spelling, grammar and Mathematics.

Tutoring sessions take place at her Rivervale home. Sessions are for one hour and are individually tailored to meet the needs of the student. Gay will liaise with the student's teacher to ensure continuity and appropriateness of material used.

High School/College/Tertiary:
Individual tuition is available in English as a Second Language (ESL) in Rivervale on an hourly basis for International students studying at High School, College, University and for adults in the workforce. Gay also corrects assignments and essays for grammatical errors and this service is offered in email format.
